Here's the one I'm entering:
Winter
It is winter;
The snow falls ever slowly,
Blanketing the ground with soft
White flakes that are always so
Cold.
I can see my breath rise
Like smoke when I walk out
Into the frosty world,
Like a spirit rises from a body.
The freezing winds, they
Pierce me; sending chills
Down my spine; and, finding
Solace, I lay among the boughs
Of snow and gaze upward with
Wonder.
