This is pretty good. You've stuck to the structure well, and you're asking some pretty deep questions actually. In choosing something so simple and so fundamental as colour, you have gone straight to the heart of the role of chaos in our lives. In doing so, you have highlighted the universality of chance. At first glance that seems distressing, but you know? I actually think it's a comfort. It's the small miracles that make it so special, so surprising.

It's a great idea: 'why did I become an accountant?', 'why did I marry that woman?', 'why are carrots orange?' Great work.
