A Sad Story

Once there was a blind girl who hated herself for being blind. She yearned to see the world, to see the face of the boy that loved her to the ends of the Earth. One day they were outside on the patio, talking. "If I could see, the first thing I'd want to see is you.", she said. The boy nodded and placed his hand on her's. "That is what I'd want too.", he whispered. A couple of weeks later, the girl had surgery. Someone had donated eyes so that she could see. When the docters told her to open her eyes, she was astounded. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes to the world she had always dreamed about....except one thing. Her boyfriend was nowhere in sight. However, when she returned home, she found a note on the table. It read:

"Dear Katie,

I hope you enjoy your new eyes, for before they were your's they were mine.
Love forever,


Johnny"
