I had to write a story with vocab words for english here is what I have so far.
Chapter One
A young girl by the name of Kallen Monty sat up in bed breathing heavily, she glanced outside to see it was still night she sighed and lifted her hand to her head. That was the fifth time that week she had that dream, the dream always made it to hard to sleep after. She lay back down and pulled her blanket up to her chin, that dream is almost like it was simulating some horrible event or even another life. As she tried to fall asleep the door to her room began to open, Kallen let out a small whimper, afraid of what was coming in,
“Honey” came the voice from the other side, light began to fill the room from the hall. The door finished opening to revel her mother in the door way “I heard you call out in your sleep are you alright?” she asked, she looked into the eyes of her daughter and saw she wasn’t ok, she looked scared, “Honey was it that dream again?” she asked as she came to sit down next to her 16 year old daughter
“I’m fine mother” she said gently, but it was a lie she wasn’t ok, she wanted to find the truth or the reason. With her mother in the room Kallen felt better, her mother had a way of ameliorate any kind of situation, she always made Kallen feel better. It didn’t take long before Kallen had fallen back asleep with her mother in the room.
The next morning Kallen woke up well rested after she had fallen back to sleep the dream did not return, giving her a peaceful night. She knew she was late to meet her friends at the mall so she grabbed only a peace of toast as she hurried out of the house to the bus stop. Once at the stop she sat at the stop as she took out a book to read.
“Book worm” one boy said as he walked past with a laugh this angered her, she umbradely closed her book and stood up, she never had a chance to say anything back for the bus had now arrived. She angrily stomped on to the bus, but soon let her anger transcend from her as she saw her friend sitting on the bus saving a seat for her.
“Thanks” she said sitting down next to her friend. It was a half an hour ride to the mall and the two girls talked the whole way about everything. Kallen didn’t tell her friend Beth anything about her dream. Kallen listened to another girl that Beth had brought along bombastically talking about things she clamed to have done. wow Kallen thought that girl is very aplomb she smiled at her pretending to follow her story, but as the girl talked Kallen felt her mind drifting away, back to the dream she had the night before and the four nights before that.
“Kallen did you hear me?” came Beth’s voice, Kallen turned to see Beth looking at her
“What?” she asked “Sorry no I didn’t” she answered
“That guy in the back of the bus he keeps looking at you and he came on at the same stop” Beth paused and looked back at some man wearing a long coat and a hood over his head “Do you know him?”. Kallen glanced back at the hooded man
“No, I don’t believe I do” Kallen said, but something was familiar about the figure something that seemed to seem so familiar to her, something that made her feel like she did know the man.
The three girls evenly made it to the mall, Beth convinced that the man was some crazy stalker kept looking over her shoulder to see no one following them, but yet she seemed convinced that the hooded man would appear again. Finally after an hour Beth became calm again and the girls began. The only thing that bothered Kallen was Beth’s friend Sara and her callow way of talking. As the girls settled in the food court Beth let out a small little cry, the other girls intently asked her what was wrong
“It’s him” she hissed leaning close to the other girls “it’s the same guy from the bus” Kallen turned her head to see the same man sitting in a chair not to far off, watching the girls, this sent a shiver down her spine, something that made her feel uncomfortable.
“I have to use the bathroom” Kallen mumbled
“We’ll come with you?” Beth told her
“No” Kallen said “You two wait for the food I will go by my self”
“But what about that man?” Beth asked
“He’s not looking at us, I can use the bathroom by myself” Kallen stood and walked over to the bathroom before Beth could argue with her again.
As Kallen walked out of the bath room she heard a loud noise from above, she looked up to see a huge Letter falling from one of the signs, sparks were flying everywhere above her head, she couldn’t move, she didn’t have time to think, she didn’t have time to get out of the way. The next thing she knew she was in someone’s arm bridal style, she looked up to see the hooded man, who wasn’t even an old man, maybe only 19. People were gathering around to see what had happened and to see if the fallen sign had hurt anyone. Kallen didn’t know what to think, this strange man had saved her life, something about him made him seem so familiar like she had seen him in a dream.
“Why did you save me?” she asked him after she finally got her voice back
“It was by ex officio that I did” he answered in a voice that held a strange accent “and now I must talk to you, alone, with out your followers” he told her
“You mean my friends?” she asked confused at what he meant by followers
“Yes, Kallen we must speak, I have been waiting for you, we all have” he told her. The boy was starting to freak her out, how did he know her name? And who was it that was waiting for her? Why were they waiting for her?
“What?” she asked “An how do you know who I-”
“Kallen” came Beth’s voice as the girl hurried pushed threw the crowed to see her friend with stalker
“I’m fine” Kallen said still in the man’s arms she glanced back at him “Will you put me down?” she asked
“As you wish” he told her “I must really speak with you” he told her again “it has been a long time, and I must ingratiate you” he told her
“Beth, I’ll be right back” Kallen told her, she remembered everything her mother had told her about strangers, but now nothing seemed to matter, something told her to trust him, and she did
“Kallen” Beth protested, but she didn’t hear she only walked away with the boy that saved her life.
“Kallen” the boy said to her once they were alone “We need you to come back” he told her in a monotone voice “The people are ready for you to return”
“What…What do you mean?” Kallen asked in confusion
“Kallen, this is not a time for playing games your people call on you, it is your ex officio to answer the call”
“Sir, I have no idea what you are talking about, you must have me confused with some other Kallen” she told him, she was starting to wonder if going some place alone with this guy.
“Why do you address me so?” he asked with a puzzled expression “You know I’m yours, I do as you wish, it is not you who shows me respect but I you” he told her
“What do you mean your mine?” she asked this man was defiantly from the loony bin.
“You don’t remember?” he asked her he sounded surprised
“Remember what?” Kallen wanted to leave now she wanted to go find Beth, she wanted to get away
“Who you are, who you were” he told her, his hood fell from his head, and the light shown onto his face, for the first time Kallen got a good look at him, a good look to see who he was. That’s when it his her, who he was, he was the man she saw in her dreams, the one that mumbled the words, engulfing the girl…her in light. “Kallen, Princess Kallen the fair Princess that would lead us to peace” he told her “It was always said that from the darkness you would bring the light back to the land, our land”
“Do I know you?” she asked not really listing to his crazy ramble
“Yes, Kallen, think back, think and remember everything, are life growing up, the open fields, the happy times we spent at the old farm?”
“We? I don’t even know who you are!” she said to him, she was now getting angry who was this man to talk like this to her
“Kallen, think we can’t win without you, without you no one will have the moral to continue on”
“What are you talking about?” Kallen said “Back away from me before I scream for help”
“The police can’t keep me, you know that, you know that no one can hold me, only you can make me stay, if you wish me to be locked up I will, but Kallen your people need you”
“I don’t know what your talking abo-”
“Kallen, the night of the attack you an I were sitting in the barn with the horses, do you remember that?” he asked her, he didn’t wait for her to answer “We heard the screaming, then Adrian appeared”
“Adrian?” she asked deciding to hear out his story
“Your sister, she was banished from the land when she was testing her powers on the subjects” he looked at her with look that was almost accusing for she didn’t remember anything “Adrian appeared and I shoved you in are secret place, we knew this was coming, everyone in the land knew she would take over, we all knew that my father would send you away so you could be reborn on earth, then my mother was to train you so that you could come back and save us, but Adrian found out this plan, she killed my mother then began killing everyone who fought her, then my father took her on, he almost won, he sent me to watch over you, but you weren’t in the place I left you” he paused “I went to find you, but was attacked” he paused and looked at the ground “I thought I was to die, I watched Adrian kill my father, our plan was ruined” he looked back up to her “I thought you were dead, I thought our land would forever be in darkness, but then I saw you again, I saw you and tried to accomplish the spell my father was going to use to have you re born on earth”
“Listen mister you need some help” Kallen said “I don’t recall any of this”
“I think I know why now” he told her
“And why would that be?” she asked sarcastically
“I was only learning the spell, I must have messed it up so that you were reborn with out your memories”
“I don’t even know who you are”
“It’s me Tristan” he smiled “You will remember, you just need to go home and then-”
“Go home?” she asked “Go home where”
“Back to Asmara” he said with a smile “I will take you there”
“No I-” Before she could finish what she was saying Tristan began to talk in the same language from the dream.
“We are going to save Asmara and get your memory back” Then a bright light engulfed both the boy and girl a huge gust of wind came and the light settled, where they had been standing now lay empty.
The next thing Kallen knew she was standing on a cliff over looking a land that lay motionless only smoke rose from decrypted homes. Kallen looked around the land, she didn’t know what happened to this land, but she did know where ever she was it didn’t always look the way it did.
“Where, where are we?” she asked Tristan
“We are home” Tristan told her solemnly, “This is are beautiful home of Asmara”
“Beautiful?” she asked him
“Once long ago, remember I told you Adrian took over, she has ruled this land for 16 years” he paused “Do you believe me now?” Tristan asked her
“I…I think I am” Kallen said as she looked over the land, Tristan took a step in front of her with his back to her, he looked over the land from left to right, then he turned to face her, he extended his hand
“Will you help me Kallen, will you help me save Asmara?” he asked. Kallen looked at his hand, then over the land, she didn’t say a word, only nodded her head and took his hand. Together the two walked hand and hand down a long path that led to the bottom of the cliff where a village awaited them, ready for them to bring light back to the land.[/blockquote]
Chapter One
Where ever someone turned all they could see were dead bodies laying all around the small village. A few people still standing, they were all hurt, hanging on to life, they knew they would keep fighting until their last breaths. One girl walked among all the bodies crying. One man lay on his stomach using the last of his strength to pull himself closer to the small girl. He came closer to the girl, she saw him and began to hurry to him until he began to mumble unknown words, no one knew what he was saying for no one knew the ancient langue anymore. The man lifted his hand painfully into the air as a burst of white light that infringed every law that ever existed in the fallen land. The white light flew to the girl and engulfed her, once the light cleared no longer did the girl stand in the middle of the dead crowd. The man fell to his side and rolled to his back, his breath labored,
“Live on” he whispered “Live on, and one day return, return and save are land” the man closed his eyes and let his hand fall to his sides, a smile was the last thing that could be seen on his face, a smile of hope.
